I designed The Bullpen on a simple premise: the most sophisticated paralegal work should be available to every firm that needs it, not just the ones that can justify the full-time hire at a top-tier salary. I bring 28 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including 13 years at an AmLaw 200 firm, hundreds of hours in the trial hot seat across most states as well as international arbitrations, world-ranked Excel proficiency, and CEDS (Certified E-Discovery Specialist) certification, directly to projects that require my unique skill set, whether that is a boutique firm going to trial, a solo practitioner with a complex eDiscovery project, or a large firm whose day-to-day paralegal team does not have capacity to adequately prepare for and execute a high-stakes moment or an extensive project. Every legal team needs a relief pitcher occasionally, one that is always warmed up for the crucial innings.
Most attorneys have never heard of scrum. Their witnesses have. The technology, financial, healthcare, and manufacturing executives who sit for depositions and testify at trial have been running their organizations on Agile project management for years. They know exactly what structured delivery looks like and what its absence costs. When a matter lands at a firm without operational discipline, they notice. They may not say so in the debrief, but they are quietly measuring their litigation team against a standard their lawyers have never been introduced to, and the gap shows. The Bullpen brings the same project management discipline your clients use to run their business to the management of their litigation.
Litigation teams don't lose ground because they're short on legal talent. They lose it because no one owns the operational cadence. Batches stall, coding questions pile up, exhibits and deadlines multiply faster than anyone can track, and the production date or trial setting closes in before the team feels it coming. As a Certified ScrumMaster, I innovatively apply to every engagement an Agile project management methodology that started in tech and is long overdue to become best practice in litigation: a short daily standup to surface what moved and what's blocked, a single source of truth for status, live metrics instead of guesswork, routine and reliable delivery of usable results, and a dedicated role whose only job is clearing obstacles so the attorneys and support staff will continuously maintain forward momentum and finish by deadline. The lawyers make the calls. I cover every base. If your team is ready to stop talking about fixing the hair-on-fire emergencies and actually fix them, that is exactly the conversation I want to have.
I accept engagements selectively. Every matter is handled personally by me, beginning with a complimentary 30-minute conversation to confirm the fit. If the project is not a good match, I will not waste our time. No delegation, no subcontracting, and no mass-mailed pitches scrounging for scraps. Among other billing options, I can invoice as a direct third-party expense to your client, eliminating the overhead of a full-time hire at the expert rate this level of work commands and creating a potentially allocable litigation expense in prevailing-party matters.
Flexible service options. One specialist ready to take the mound when the championship is on the line.

Trial Preparation
Operational oversight of trial preparation run on a Certified ScrumMaster-led cadence: exhibit identification, organization, and pre-trial filings coordinated so the trial team walks into the courtroom organized and ready, not scrambling at the finish line. Project or hourly rate basis.
Trial Hot Seat Operations
Real-time document retrieval, impeachment support, and exhibit management at counsel table. What distinguishes this engagement from a typical hot seat hire is the after-hours and weekend paralegal support available throughout trial, and who is providing it. Because I am in the courtroom all day, I see the arguments, the rulings, and the emerging impeachment tasks the same moment the trial team does. After-hours support is reactive and contextual, not task-driven from an office removed from the proceedings. Day rate for courtroom operations; hourly rate for after-hours and weekend support.
